PLAN ALL-SCHOOL SOUTHPORT DANCE

The first sit-school dance of the season will be held at Southport school Nov. 1 under sponsorship of the Girls’ Athletic association, President Dorothy Roberts has announced !

The dance will honor members of the football team, following the Southport-Decatur Central game. Ted Williamson's orchestra will play. Committee members for the dance are Mary Kay Stephenson, chairman, and Cecile Winburn, Irma Swickard and Dorothy Brown, entertainment; Lou Moore, chairman, and Alberta Derrett, Margie Tuttle, Dorothy Ross, Carol Weinke and Barbara Wilson, decorations: Nelda Bherrick, chairman, and Dorothy Van Winkle, Ann Wade and Judy Morgan, refreshments, and Patty Franke, chairman, and Jeannie Haselip, Donna Nunley and Anita Hendershott, invitations. Mrs. Lucille Miller is G. A. A. sponsor.
