‘Living Rosary’ At Sacred Heart

A “living rosary” will be presented to mark the dedication of October as the. month of the rosary tomorrow at 7:30 p. m. in Sacred Heart Catholic church. The living rosary will be spon-

sored by the Blessed Virgin sodality.

Sixty members dressed in blue skirts and white blouses each will represent a bead of the rosary. The members will meet. in the St. Cecilia hall and march in procession into the chutch. The Sacred Heart high school chorus under the direction of Sister Angela will sing. Miss Mary Jane Brackman, chairman of the Our Lady committee, is arranging the special devotion. Book Designed To Aid Laymen

A new book designed to help laymen who hold church offices has been written by Dean O. L. Shelton of the Butler school of religion. Dr. Shelton's new work is titled: “The Church Functioning Effective- | ly” and costs $1.50. It is published by the Christian board of publication, St. Louis, Mo.
