suits by the end of this year, Herbert Rose, head of CPA's textile division, predicted today. This output would exceed all production records by three million suits, Mr. Rose said the industry would be “over the hump”—adequate supplies of men's suits will be available —early in 1947. sidiaries and 15 officers convicted of violating anti-trust laws have filed
notice of appeal in federal district ’

The appeal will be taken to the seventh circuit court of appeals at Chicago within the next seven months, ’ Fines totaling $175,000 were imposed on the huge grocery chain and the officers and subsidiary corporations last Saturday by Federal Judge Walter C, Lindley of the eastern Illinois district court here, who had found them guilty of carrying on a conspiracy in restraint of trade. Among the five other bids received yesterday, was $59,000, offered by the Belmont Radio Corp., of Chicago. William T, Kirby, deputy regional director of the war assets administration, said a decision would be made in Chicago within 10 days.
