By Science Service WASHINGTON, July 30.—Following one of the severest short wave blackouts in history last week-end, international broadcasts,
particularly those over. north Atlantic paths, probably will be blacked out next Thurgday through Saturday and Sunday, the national bureau of standards warns. An exclusive Science: Service dispatch predicted the radio trouble over the week-end. Broadcasts in Alaska were blacked out for 60 consecutive hours, RCA communications - to and from all European points, even those as near the equator as Tangier, completely faded out for over fivé hours early Sunday morning. Conditions improved Sunday, but signals were again disrupted Sunday afternoon and Monday.
