Piling cabinets and heavy fixtures were being removed today from the Indianapolis veterans gdministra~ tion fairgrounds office in preparation for official opening of the Century building headquarters Aug. 1. Units which will vacate the fairgrounds site Aug. 15 are finance, personnel, adjudication, supply and communications, The fairgrounds components numbering 553 employees will be the vanguard of a staff of 1300 to oc-

Also receiving a $2000 scholarship was Donita Stobaugh, veledictorian of Cambridge City high school. Times Special BLOOMINGTON, Ind, July 2¢— Co-operating in the first effort of its kind in the country, Indiana university and the city of Bloom= ington are inaugurating a joint recreation program through appointment of Jerry T, Femal,- of Madison, Wis., as municipal recrea= tion director. Under the joint program, universe sity students taking recreation courses will receive practical training in the municipal program under the supervision of Mr. Femal, who also holds a staff position in the university’s new school of physical education, health and recreation.
