NURSES ARE NEEDED IN EPIDEMIC AREAS

The Red Cross today broadcast an appeal for graduate nurses who are urgently needed for polio epidemics in Florence, Ala., and Jackson, Miss. Nurses will be paid $8 for an eight-hour day with pay starting from time of departure from Indianapolis. Full maintenance, including travel, hotel and meals will be furnished. Volunteers for this duty are re-

quested either to call the Red Cross, LI-1441, or Mrs. C. G. Culbertson, chairman of the disaster relief committee on nurses, at BR-4902. Any necessary money needed in advance will be taken care of by the Indianapolis chapter.
