to wholesalers, $0.0936 per case 24-12 oz. bottles $0.1248 per case 12-32 oz. bottles $0.635 per half barrel

Effective June 29, 1946, O.P. A. amendment extended to beer wholesalers the former privilege of adding increased brewery costs to laid down costs and to take a gross markup of 23% on new total costs of bottled beer. No increase other than brewery increased cost was permitted on

draught beer.

In accordance with the amendment the permitted over-all wholesale beer price increase to the retail trade was,

$0.11 fo $0.14 per case 24-12 oz. bottles or an increase of

I/2 cent per bottle (average)

$0.15 to $0.18 per case 12-32 oz. bottles or an increase of

1/2 cent per bottle (average)

$0.635 per half barrel or an increase of !/3 cent per 12 oz.
