PAC Soup Asks Niles to Deny Petitions.

The Marion county Political Action Committee of the C, I. O. has sent letters to justices of the peace .and Municipal court judges, urging them to deny petitions for eviction of tenants as the result of the expiration of OPA rent controls June 30. 0.

The letters, sent out by John E. Bennett, chairman of the county P. A. C, called attention to the flood of eviction suits filed during the last 10 days. “It seems apparent that 1 rent cone trols will be re-established soon by | an act of congress,” the letters state. “We feel that you can do much to avoid hardship for citizens of this county by your action,
