WASHINGTON, July 5.—Here are some questions on G. I. loans and national service life insurance: Q—When I left the service I was single and thought I had too much insurance. I had the government cut down the size of the policy. Then I got married and decided I shouldn't have dropped part of the policy. Is it possible to get that part I dropped renewed? A~Yes. You can reinstate part of a policy as well as the whole policy. * @Q—I got out of service two years ago, I dropped my G. I. insurance for a while, then got half of it reinstated and, later, converted. Circumstances now demand that I have more insurance. I understand that I can still get that part of my government insurance which. I dropped reinstated. But do I have to pay all the back premiums and take a physical to do it? A—Until Jan. 1, 1947, no physical examination will be required to reinstate a lapsed government policy.
Indiana has received authorization from Washington to build an additional 15,599 housing units, ac~ cording to an announcement today by R. The priorities have been assigned over a four-month period: July, 4315; August, 4315; September, 3988, and October, 2081. : Of the monthly quotas 25 per
The rental priorities allow 50 per cent of the units to rent below $55 per month and the rest above the $56 mark, while 50 per cent of the houses constructed for sale may sell for more than $6750 and the remainder below that price, FHA has operated under the preceding set-up for the past. three months and this quarter was granted about 4000 more units than in the last period.
