Band. Sorority Will Join National Group
Beta Mu Sigma, Butler university local band honofry sorority, will be
installed as Epsilon chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, national band honorary for women, July 7 in the recreation room of the Arthur Jordan Memorial hall, . Theodore Jones, Lowell, grand secretary-treasurer of the national organization, will be the installing officer. The Butler group will be the first of its kind in the Middle West, the other chapters being located in the West. Twenty coed members of the band who will be initiated are Misses Barbara Barth, Mariap Markle, Jean Travis, Frances Brockman, Patsey Ruth Huber, Pauline Clark, Dorothy Reinacker, Betty Nay, Joan Taylor and-Joan Hayden. Others are Miss Vera J. Fesmire, Westfield; Miss Dorothy Hauk, Morristown; Miss Jane Chapman, New Castle; Miss Arlaua Schuyler, North Judson; Miss Katherine Morris, Huntington; Miss Imogene MecClellan, Seymour; Miss Joyce Falvey, Knox; Miss Lois Ann Gotschall, Logansport; Miss Dorothy Young, Princeton, and Miss Carol Roberts, president, Noblesville.
