Card Party Booked
The Railway Business Women's association will sponsor a card party in Block's auditorium at 2:30 p. m. Saturday. A style show also will be on the program.
Mrs. Mathews Heads Unit
Mrs. R. H. G. Mathews is the hew president of the John H. Holliday Jr. unit, American Legion auxfliary. Other recently elected officers, who will be installed in September, include Mrs. Ralph Lewis, vice president: Mrs. Harry W. Dragoo II, secretary; Mrs. Harold Reed, treasurer; Mrs. Wilbur Patterson, chaplain, and Mrs. Earl Finley, historian. The auxiliary will have a picnic this month with the post members. Luncheon meetings will be discontinued this summer, but the dinner meetings with the post will continue. The summer project of the group will be the purchase of books fop-the Veterans’ hospital.

while, add to boiling water in a saucepan the salt, mustard, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, onion and horseradish. Add dissolved gelatin. Let simmer about five minutes. Strain. Chill until partly congealed. Work the mayonnaise into the cream cheese and stir until smooth. Add to congealed gelatin until well blended. Now add drained carrots and lima beans, stirring lightly with a fork until uniformly distributed. Pour into loaf pan which has been rinsed with cold water. Chill until firm. Unmold on bed of greens. Garnish with any of the following: Green pepper rings, radishes, avocados or grapefruit and orange sections.
