Bandits, burglars and prowlers yere busy on Indianapolis streets again last night, Arthur Browne, 1235 N. New Jersey st, sald two armed bandits jumped on the running boards of his car at Washington ‘st. and’ State ave. last night and took *his billfold containing $40. © A -young mother reported that while she was awaiting the return of her husband from work last night, an assailant forced his way into her home in the 4000 block, W. Michigan st., and criminally assaulted her. She sald she was asleep in the front room and was awakened by a man who threatened to kill her if she screamed. Mrs, Edith Welshams, 4021 E. | Michigan st. reported she found an 18-year-old youth standing in the front room of her home yesterday.

They were brought here last night on criminal court capiases from Washington, Pa., where they were arrested yesterday on a traffic offense. An investigation of their automobile there revealed jewelry and clothing estimated at $12,000. Several of the' gems recovered were identified as part of the $3800 loot stolen May 15 from the home of Leroy Sanders, local tax attorney, at 5151 Washington blvd. . MacGregor has admitted seven “jobs” in Indianapolis and is wanted for questioning by police in Louisville, Denver, Cincinnati and Chicago. Police in Washington, Pa. reported MacGregor's car was stolen in California.

WOMAN RUN OVER BY TRUCK TO LIVE

DETROIT, June 5 (U. P.).—Witnesses . claimed today that the wheels of a one-ton truck trailer carrying a ton of structural steel passed over the body of 100-pound Catherine Kudzin, 23, who lived. Doctors reported the woman in serious condition, but said preliminary examination disclosed no major injuries, She was thrown under the truck when her coat caught in a wheel.

Illinois st., reported that while he was walking across a vacant lot near his home last night. three men attacked him and took his billfold. There was no money in it. Police cruiser squads surprised two youths attempting to enter the rear door of the Davis Cleaning Shop, 2112 Roosevelt ave., last night, The suspects ran and hid in some weeds but when police threw flashlights on them they shouted: “We give up.” The suspects gave their names as Robert Stewart, 31, of the Roosevelt hotel, and Raymond Murrell, 20, of 1246 S. Capitol ave. ¥

The suit was filed by Frank B. Knyvett, president of the Physical-Medical Instrment Co. State Also Sued The company has two other law suits pending in county courts. A hearing was to be held this afternoon in circuit court on a .suit brought by the company asking the state board of health to make a public statement approving the sale of the company’s instrument.
