Club Women Asked to Aid Greek Relief

Times Special ‘CHICAGO, May 30.—The General Federation of Women's Clubs is appealing to club women throughout the nation to help clothe 30,000 children in Greece. Short lengths of material to be used in making garments for thése destitute children are being solicited in an effort to relieve suffering. Materials particularly needed are ong and three-fourths to four yards of 39-inch cotton fabric; one and one-half to three yards of 35-inch cotton flannel; one to one and onehalf yards of 35-inch unbleached muslin; two to three yards of 54inch woolen material, and seveneighths yard of heavy cotton or wool. Because of trade restrictions, no silk or rayon material can be sent. Individuals or club groups wishing to contribute are asked to send material by June 13 to the General Federation of Women's Clubs, Column of Cloth for Children of Greece, in care of the Stevens hotel, Chicago, where the G. F. W. C. convention will be held June 17 to 21. 5 #8 Mrs. W. H. Lykins, Covington, president of the Indiana Federation of Clubs, ‘and Mrs. W. C. Bartholomew, president of the I. F.
