GAINESVILLE, Fla., May 30 (U. P.). — Novelist Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings yesterday returned to her typewriter proud that “the state of Florida has upheld the right of all earnest and conscientious writers to write. A six-man jury returned a verdict of “pot guilty” in the $100,000 invasion of privacy suit brought against the julitzer prize winning author by Zelma Cason. “The jury deliberated only 30 minutes after receiving the six-day-old case from Circuit Judge John A. SHIPPING IS PROBLEM IN RELIEF TO HUNGRY

WASHINGTON, May 30 (U. P.). —Agriculture department officials today studied ways of rushing grain overseas in time to ease mass hunger, : Secretary of Agriculture Clinton |P. Anderson has announced the] government has obtained enough] grain under its bonus program to! keep its promises to export a recordbreaking 400,000,000 bushels from] its 1945 crop. | But he said it might not be pos-| sible to get all this grain abroad by | the July 1 deadline unless tremendous transportation problems could be overcome. Nearly 74,600,000 | bushels of grain would have to be shipped during the next 32 days. The best this country has been able to do so far included 41,030,000 bushel shipped last January—the only month this year the U. 8. has topped its monthly export goal of | 37,300,000 bushels. i
