Highlights of the 1941 500-Mile, the last one held before the war: 1. Early bird, waiting for the gates to open, 2. Mauri Rose, the co-winner with Floyd Davis, is in the first car shown, although Rex Mays and Wilbur Shaw already had pulled aheady " 3.
