U. music school faculty, Miss Drescher played the Bach-Busoni Chaconne, | the Schumann F sharp ‘minor sonata, five Chopin etudes, two etudes of Scriabin and Busoni's transcription of Liszt's ‘Campanella.” ? The Busoni version of the Bach Chaconne is a lot harder than the Siloti. I wonder if it's correspondingly more effective? Miss Drescher was always right there with. the notes—for which achievement, as in the Schumann sonata, she deserves great credit. More tone was “indicated” (as i tors say) here and there, but sh did beautifully with all the technical difficulties—a tribute to the teaching she’s had.
