ONTARIO, Cal, May 14.—Brains, initiative, and war-learned knowledge of the Pacific airways have mushroomed a fledgling flight outfit into a concern that now flies wing to wing with the biggest in the business. Edwin Jones, 39, and six buddies decided they could put |their experience in flying Pacific war cargoes to better use if they struck out on their own. “We had a good record with the ATC,” Jones says. “We thought we could do something with ourselves.” Others thought so, too.
