“Edistaiis Advertising club “Ad! of the Year” trophies for 1945 were | presented to winners Thursday | in the Hotel Lincoln. Hal" Schultz, | president of the club's “Ad of the | Month” committee, made the pres-| entations. Entries whiéh had won in the monthly competition during 1945] competed. for the annual awards in, each of nine classifications. The! judging committee was made up of | the board of directors of the Ad-| vertising club of Washington, D. C.! H. P. Wasson & Co. won trophies in two divisions, color newspaper | advertising, and newspaper black | and white, larger than one-half| page. Entries of L. 8. Ayres & Co. and the Wm. H. Block Co. tied for top honors in the newspaper field, smaller than one-half page. All the winners in the newspaper field were published in The Indianapolis Times. Keeling & Co. was awarded trophies in three divisions; radio spot announcements, consumer and trade paper magazines. The direct mail award went to Maxwell Droke; Indianapolis Rdilways won in the radio program division and General Outdoor Advertis- | ing Corp. was awarded a trophy for their client's entry in the field .of | outdoor advertising.
