DOES NOT KILL THE GRASS
WHAT IT IS: WEED BLITZ uses the new Hormone, 2-4D (Dichlorophenoxacetic acid) and a special ingredient to make the 2-4D “stick” and hasten the weed's death. U.S. Dept. of Agriculture after thorough test, authorizes responsible chemical manufacturers to offer you 2-4D as a proven weed killer which does NOT hurt grass. A famous plant expert says in a national garden magazine, “At last painless lawn weeding is a fact.”. . . HOW IT WORKS: 2-4D forces noxious weeds to live their normal life spans in 24 to 36 hours. Then the weeds die, down through the roots—and stay dead! NOT A POISON in the ordinary chemical sense. Some State Entomologists say, “2-4D is not toxic.” Some say a high concentrate might be toxic, so WEED BLITZ 5%, solution of 2-4D is labled "relatively lowsn toxicity.” One plant authority says he sprayed his youngsters with 24D and no ill effects. It.does not harm warm-blooded animals, human or otherwise. . . . COSTS SO LITTLE: One 8-oz. bottle of WEED BLITZ with our Special Spray Nozzle Unit on your garden hose, kills gll the weeds in 8,000 square feet of lawn (an area 80 by 100 feet). . . . WARNING: Yes, WEED BLITZ kills flowers and friendly plants, too. That's why you need our Special Spray Unit to assure positive, quick, safe control of the 2.4D. . . . Get all the SENSATIONAL FACTS about this new Post-War Boon to Mankind, in our Circular. Get set for the happiest, care-free lawn-season of your life, with WEED BLITZ. ... BUY FROM YOUR DEALER—Drug, Grocery, Hardware, Seed, Department Store or Nurseryman. If your dealer does not have WEED BLITZ stack, be sure to write us, today.
