In 1867 she married David N. Foster and the couple moved to a farm 25 miles east of Greenwood. They returned 25 ‘years later to Greenwood, where Mr. Foster taught school and managed a small hotel. In 1944, Mrs. Foster was honored at a cenfennial birthday celebration in, Greenwood ats which time she received a message from President Roosevelt. x Durng her life, Re saw men leave to fight in four wars; Merican war, Civil war and both world wars. She was an honorary member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burton of Indianapolis and Mrs. Jessie Craft of Greenwood; a son, Guy Foster of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildrén, and two great-great-grandchildren. '
