As a surprise to the couple, master-of-ceremonies Ralph Edwards had their children brought from Crown Point, Ind. The seven children, Lester, Richard, Louis, Walter, Mabel and Helen Dye, and nine grandchildren were invited to remain for a two weeks visit with their pare ents. Mr. Dye, 71, and his wife, 72, moved here from Crown Point five years ago and had not seen their children since.

She retired from the latter position two years ago because of ill health. She is survived by a son, Gordon P. Tierney, Indianapolis, and a brother, Herschell Brown, Gaston.
