During the war government necessarily spent huge sums of money. Yet, with the war over, the government plans to spend four times as much in the coming year as it spent in the

highest pre-war year.

they need be.

be stopped ...and this is the only way it can

be stopped.

Write your representatives in Congress today.

Urge them to cut the cost of government,

eliminating all waste...all unnecessary ser-

vices...and postponing all expenditures that

can be put off until our war bills have been

paid.

Urge them to make the government start live

ing within its means...at a level that you and

your neighbors can afford to pay.
