Bloomington Church Will Be Scene Of Rockwood-O'Harrow ~ Ceremony
THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN church in Bloomington will be transformed into a panorama of spring flowers and woodland greenery today for the wedding of Miss Anna Jean O’'Harrow and Capt. Charles A. Rockwood III. The ceremony will be read at 4:30 p. m. by the Rev, Joseph Walker, | ' “The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar A. O’Harrow of Bloomington and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rockwood of Indianapolis and Washington. The vows will be. read before a background of tall branched candelabra decorated with sprays of white stock and white snapdragons. A woodland effect will be created by clumps of Woodwardia ferns placed at graduating heights and clusters of stock tied in satin ribbons will mark the entrance to each pew, The bride, wearing white net, will be given in marriage by her father, Her gown is fashioned with a sheer yoke extending over the shoulders and outlined with a wide bertha trim of appliqued taffeta. It has a fitted bodice, long sleeves tapering into points over the hands and a full net skirt with taffeta appliques in the front panels and a chapel train,

HER TWO-TIERED FINGERTIP VEIL of illusion will cascade from a crown of waxed orange blossoms. She will carry a cluster of open tulips, centered with white Cattleya orchids, and a shower of bouvardia. . Miss Barbara. Drollinger of South Bend will be maid of honor, Her gown of Nile green marquisette is styled with a gathered bodice and a bouffant skirt with self-ruffie ttim. She will carry a garden basket of vari-colored tulips caught in long’ streamers of Nile taffeta and French lace. The bridesmaids will be Miss Suzanne Cauble, Miss Mary Ann Alexander and Mrs. George Reed Jr, all of Bloomington, and Miss Emily O'Harrow of Huntington. They will be dressed alike in maize-colored frocks fashioned like the maid of honor's dress. Their garden baskets wil be filled with flowing sprays of golden tulips tied in yellow taffeta and maline streamers. All the attendants will wear gauntlets matching their dresses and bonnets with bow trim. John Dean of Indianapolis will be best man. Ushers will be Capt. Reed, George Kempf, Maurice Hooper and Nat Hill. Mrs. O'Harrow, the bride's mother, will wear an aqua crepe gown and Mrs. Rockwood, mother of the bridegroom, will be dressed in gray crepe.
