BROMFIELD DEBUNKS MONASTERY REPORT

COLUMBUS, O, Feb. 28 (U, PJ). —Louis Bromfield, Lucas, O., au-thor-farmer, said today that reports on his plan to enter a Trappist monastery for “mediation” was “bunk.” Mr. Bromfield informed friends in Columbus that he would not resign from Ohio's conservation and natural resources commission prior to his entry in the monastary. “The monastary story (carried by a news commentator on a nationwide hookup last Sundays is the bunk,” Mr. Bromfield told friends.
