Two to Receive Pins For 25 Years Service
Two members of the American Legion auxiliary to Indianapolis post 4 will receive pins for 25 years service in the group at a meeting at 8 p. m. tomorrow in the World War Memorial. Mrs. H. Wash, scrape and dice parsnips. Add hot water just to cover and % tsp. salt; cover and simmer for 10 minutes, Drain, Sift flour and resift three times with 1 tsp. baking powder, sugar and salt. Combine egg and milk and add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add the cooked parsnips. Drop by spoonfuls into the hot fat and fry on each side until delicately browned. Makes four servings of 10 to 12 fritters.
