LONG BEACH, Cal, Feb. § (U. P.)~Funeral services will be con~ ducted today for Adm. Richard, Leigh, 75, retired commander-in-chief of the United States fleet, who died at Naval hospital here last night. Private funeral rites here will be followed by interment in Arlington National cemetery at Washington. Adm. Leigh had been suffering from an intestinal disorder for three months. With him when he died was his wife, Mrs. Minnie H. Leigh, whom he married on Feb. 18, 1807. Adm, Leigh, who left active duty in 1084 for age and disability, came out of retirement on the eve of Pearl Harbor to advocate newer and faster battleships for the navy. Adviser at Geneva

Drescher, retired business man and husband of Lydia Wallace Drescher, who lived here before her marriage, died Saturday in Sacramento, Cal, Mr. Drescher, who was 80, is survived by his wife; a son, Bernard Carl Drescher, Sacramento, and his brother-in-law, Warrack Wallace, Brendenwood.

HELICOPTER TO AID RECRUITING DRIVE
The U. 8. army recruiting station in the Federal building will launch an all-out campaign at 2 p. m. tomorrow on the Circle for increased enlistments. Included in an hour-long demonstration will be a hovering helicopter from which will come a broadcast. The public also will be able to talk to the pilot with a walkie talkie, A fleet of jeeps will give free public rides and escort enlistees to Loew's theater. Those Joining will be guests of the theater to see Ann Sothern in “Up Goes Maisie” Meanwhile, Miss Sothern, M. G. M. star, has accepted the title of honorary army recruiting aide in na, : The ™.
