Dr. Sevitzky has announced a uniform program for all schools except Shortridge. At Shortridge, Miss Paity Joy, winner of the Sym phony’s young musicians contest in November, will be soloist in the first movement of Grieg’s piano concerto. The orchestra’s school-tour program will include Mozart's “Marriage of Figaro” overture, the second movement of Tchaikovsky's Fifth symphony; ballet music from Delibes' “Coppelia”; Tchaikovsky's “Nutcracker” suite, and Morton Gould's “When Johnny Comes Marching Home.” In the Shortridge program, the Grieg concerto will replace the “Nutcracker” suite. Ralph W. Wright, supervisor of music for the Indianapolis public schools, is in charge of arrangements.

«= there's no better time to take that pleasant highway trip you've planned so long
== you'll go in comfort at lowest cost
The let-down that has followed America’s great year of victory calls for the lift of a pleasant Greyhound trip — and right now is the time to go!
Transportation will be less crowded in the next few weeks than at any other time this year. The peak of emergency travel has passed . . . the rush of normal business and recreation trips is just beginning . .. yet full wartime frequency of Greyhound service is still i in effect.
Whether yolir trip is across the county on busi- . ness — or across the continent for a well-earned vacation, you'll travel in comfort, aboard a warm, well-ventilated highway coach, at money--saving fares. So go now and go by Greyhound.
