DRIVER IS HELD GUILTY. IN DEATH
Judge William D. Bain of criminal | court today delivered ‘a verdict of guilty in the manslaughter case of Horace Edwards, 31, alleged driver of a car which fatally injured 15-year-old Mildred Trout. The accident occurred Dec. 23, 1044, on W. Washington st. between Biltmore and Norfolk aves. Judge Bain said he would sentence the defendant later today to a term of two to 21 year in the Indiana state prision. Edwards has been at liberty under bond since the accident. His attorney, John Watkins, asked Judge Bain to suspend the sentence. This was Was denied,
