These two could scarcely have been justly cut, since in “Saratoga Trunk,” recently passed, Gary Cooper spends most of his waking hours watching Ingrid Bergman slop around in her shimmy in her boudoir.

But they finally de¢ided that Eddie’s later life—in which he embraces bumhood, is thwarted in suicide, and is thoroughly miserable— was sufficient pay-off for his momentary carelessness with that pick. Everybody could have been saved a lot of time and trouble in this thing if Robinson had been a little less atavistic in his choice of weapons, and had knocked off Miss Bennett with a nice clean shotgun.

VETERANS HOSPITAL T0 GET BUS SERVICE

Direct motor coach service from the downtown district to the Veterans hospital will be started Sunday, Indianapolis Railways officials announced today, The line also will serve Municipal Gardens and the War Mothers Memorial Grove, It will be operated as part of the Speedway motor coach line. Buses marked “Veterans hospital” will operate from the Circle via the Speedway line to W. 16th st. and Belle Vieu. Here the new line will continue north over Belle Vieu and the Cold Springs rd. to the hospital, where the buses will loop

returning inbound over the above route, There will be no change in the present schedule of buses going to Speedway City, and the crosstown bus line will continue to serve the hospital.
