The area meetings open Feb. 6 at Boston and there will be conferences Feb. 8 in Washington, D. C., and Feb. 12 in Atlanta, Ga,

ROME, Jan. 22 (U. P, .—Italy was willing today to permit return of the Aegean islands to @reece but refused to renounce the country's claims to the Southern Tyrol, including Brenner Pass.
Prime Minister Alcide de Gasperi told the national consulative assembly yesterday that Italy would not object to returning the Aegeans, He reasserted Italy's right to the Southern Tyrol which Austria has claimed should belong to her.
