With both the coaches’ committee and the sports editors’ committee,

new set-up makes the Coach of the Year even more authoritative than ever. The whole-hearted co-operation of the coaches is assured by Presi dent Harlow, himself a former winner of the award, in 1936.
“The Coach of the Year award is a great honor to the winner, and a fine thing for the game,” declares Harlow. “It has gained tradition through 11 years, and I know every coach considers it a real distinction to be selected.”

Bosse Strong Again
Defending champion is Ev (ville Bosse, whose Bulldogs h hive captured the title, two years running and now have, in their quest for a third and record-tying cham~|plonship, a mark of 10 victories and one defeat. The I. H. 8. A. A. announced officlally that the final games would be played again at the Butler university fieldhouse. During the war, the event was moved to the Indiana state fairgrounds Coliseum,
The navy took-over the fieldhouse and forced the I. H. 8. A A across town. The announcement also said that the four semi-finals sessions would be held again at Indianapolis, Lafayette, Bloomington and Muncie, same as last year.
Assignment Changes Three changes were made in regional site assignments, and 17 alterations were listed in the selection of seftional centers. The semi-finals sites are the fieldhouse at Butler, Indiana and Purdue Srtiversities;” and the Muncie high school fieldhouse. These four structures can accommodate more than 35,700 Ians, 50 per cent more than the 22500 who crowded into the 1944 centers at Muncie, Vincennes, Hammond and Indianapolis. . * Tech to Fieldhouse The 1948 Indianapolis sectional for Marion county teams is scheduled at the Tech gym, but is expected to be changed to the Butler fieldhouse to take advantage of the huge seating capacity. Sectional dates are Feb. 21, 22, 23. Three Marion county teams will compete elsewhere to keep the local meet down to 16 teams.\ Speedway is to compete in. the
