agriculture, as well as top-rank-ing Indiana farmers, homemakers and educators will take part in the three-day conclave, Theme of the session will be “Planning for Peace-Time Production.” Farm Alumni Meets One of the highlights of tomorrow’s sessions will ‘be the annual meeting of the Purdue agricultural alumni, The group, together with the Akron Jonah club, Fulton county conservation group, will vie in the annual “Avenge Jonah” contest. Speaker at the meeting will be H. G. Moulton, president of Brobkings institution, Washington, D. C. Purdue’s new president, Frederick L: Hovde, will officially welcome the

LONDON, Jan. 14 (U, P.).—The winter cold forced Emir Feisal, Saudi Arabian delegate to the United Nations Organization, to obtain ration coupons for underwear for his entourage of nine wives. The women -did not want to wear Eurppean clothes, but their long, Tfull-flowing white camels hair robe, comfortable in the désert, were not warm enough. A shortage of hotel rooms has forced many delegates ‘to sleep two in a room but a Danish representative was allowed to sleep alone when he confessed that he snored.
