Fire early today damaged the Meier Food Market in Cumberland when a short in the wires of the refrigerator motors developed. The flames were confined primarily to thé basement which was used for stofage and back of the Henry Meier, proprietor, was not able to estimate the damage. = ~~

HOLDER, former deputy prosecutor in the Mari on county - criminal court, has returned to law practice in his Odd Fellow buflding offices after his recent naval discharge, He will be ah ’ associated with Charles W. Holder and John M. Kelley. During his 44 motiths' ser vice, Mr. Holder was legal specialist and served as island iin command -~ id ing officer a RY Wallis islan Mr. Holder gro tus also le gal officer and judge advocate to thé general couft-martial board in the New Hebrides islands. While in the Pacific theater, he was admitted to law practice before the Samoan high court of American Samoa. Mr, Holder had practiced law for eight years prior to his naval duties, He Is & member of the Indiana State Bar association, Indianapolis Bar association, Lawyers Association ® of Indianapolis and Sigma Delta Kappa, legal fraternity.
