LIME SUPPER SALAD % c. cold water 2 tbsps. unflavored gelatin 2% c. boiling water 1 tsp, salt % c. lime juice 1 c. diced celery % c. chopped green pepper 1 No. 2 can of asparagus greens Soften gelatin in cold water, add boiling water and stir until gelatin dissolves. Add salt and lime juice; mix well. Pour % cup of the mixture into bottom of onequart mold or ordinary clean coffee can. chill’ until firm. Chill remaining mixture unéll slightly thickened, fold in celery and green pepper. ge several asparagus spears, tip down, around mold and fill with gelatin mixture. Chill until firm, unmold on chop plate and garnish with remaining asparagus. lime slices and greens Serve with lime mayonnaise salad dressing. This will serve six.
