sure play in the second period but the Baron defenders were able to check all thrusts until late in’ the stanza. Then the Indianapolis skaters came through with three markers. . Tony Bukovich came in fast from the léft and took a pass from Fernand Gauthier to connect. The next came when Hugh Millar started a rush in center ice and the Caps went in three-on-one. Johnny Holota was on the firing end of this counter. Wochy got his second goal at 17:87, a rebound shot which caught Kiszkan flat on the ice and his stick skidding out to one side of the cage.
Score Three More
Just to rub it in, the Caps racked up three more tallies in the final period and then turned in a magnificent defensive performance to help Wilson get his shutout, f Pete Leswick fired the first one inthis seession-at 1:13 then Holota and Douglas got their second markers toward the close of the heat. Holota's was fired just as the Cap player was hit, by a Baron defender and he was half sprawling when he took the shot. The home boys again played with only three defensemen due to the absence of Rollie McLenahan. Les wick, although ill, played part of the game but Dick Behling was not in evidence. He reported late after his army discharge and probably isn’t ready to go just yet. He didn’t make the trip to Pittsburgh either,
