The test will come April 9 when f Iiinols voters go to the polls in a f primary election to select state and candidates for the regular election next November. EP. A. CO. seeks the election of cani didates who will be favorable to lapor in the next congress. They feel ‘the Illinois primary and five others ‘within the next 60 days will de‘termine the success of their efforts. There are primaries in Indiana and Ohio on May 7, Oregon May 17, Pennsylvania May 21 and California i June 7. = In some states P. A. C. participa- & gion in primary elections is a new i ‘departure. Last election, for in- * stance, Ohio P. A. C. waited until the regular party organizations sejected their candidates in the primary. It then made its endorsements.
