J. Fred Forler, Greyhound - bus lines employee, died yesterday in his home. He was 40. . Mr, Forler, who worked as a garage maintenance man for the Greyhound lines for four years, was a former employee eof the Superior Trailer Manufacturing Corp. He was born in Spencer county and had lived here 19 years.

4 BURN TO DEATH IN FIRE AT HOME

CHICAGO, Dec. 18 (U. P.).—Four were burned to death when fire engulfed - their home at

__jsuburban Summit, Ill, early today.

The dead were Marianna Jacques, 17," and]

23, Alice, 22, Theresa, Michael, 14, the children of Albert Jacques, a world war I veteran, and his wife, Mary, Fire department officials said the fire broke out about 3:30 a, m, in the kitchen of the one-and-a-half story dwelling and spread swiftly through the house.

The parents said they were asleep |.

in the master bedroom on the ground floor when they awoke and smelled smoke. They said they called to the children and escaped to safety without realizing that the children were trapped inside the blazing house.
