William A. McCauley Was Retired Insurance Man.
Services for William Albert McCauley, retired Prudential Life Insurance Co. agent, will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the Dorsey Brothers funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. | Services for Donald A. Dermitt, a veteran of four years in the army, three years of which were spent in the European theater, will be held at 2 p. m. tomorrow in Flanner & Buchanan mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. Mr. Dermitt, who was 30, died yesterday in his home, 5872 Rosslyn ave. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis he attended Broad Ripple high school and was employed by Link Belt Co. before entering service and after being discharged. MRS. LILLIAN SMITH A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in {Crown Hill cemetery for Mrs. Lillian Loeper Smith, former Indianapolis resident for 53 years. The Rev. E. Ainger Powell, pastor of Christ's Episcopal church, will be in charge. Mrs. Smith, who was 60, died { Tuesday in Des Moines, Ia. after | a brief illness, where she had lived for several years. Her husband, C. Vance Smith, was in the auto finance business here. A sister, Miss Helen Loeper of Indianapolis, formerly was principal of school 57. Survivors, besides her husband and sister, include another sister, Mrs. Bertha Justin Curtis of Holly-|

MRS. AMELIA C. HEDGE Services for Mrs. Amelia C. Hedge, 3223 S. Harlan st. ‘a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, will be held at 1 p. m. Saturddy in G. H. Herrmann funeral home. Mrs, Hedge, who was 38 and the wife of Pic. Paul Hedge, serving with the army in Korea, died yesterday in City hospital. Survivors, besides her husband, include three daughters, Phyllis, Ethel May and Ruth Ellen Hedge; two sons, Paul Sherman Hedge and James . Hedge, all of Indianapolis; four sisters, Miss Anna Mueller, Miss Dorothy Mueller and Mrs. Edith Gephart, all of Indianapdlis, and Mrs, Bertha Arnold of Bargersville; two brothers, Arthur Mueller of Elwood and Albert Mueller 6f Indianapolis, and her mother, Mrs, Augusta Mueller of Indianapolis. Services for John A. Haley, a native of Leeds, England and an Indianapolis resident since 1909, will be held at 9 a. m. tomorrow in the Church of the Little Flower. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

For the last nine years he had been employed by the SchwitzerCummins Co. He was a member of the church of the Little Flower, the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a past member of the Knights of Columbus. : Survivors are his wife, Mrs Eugenia M. Haley, and two sons, 8. Sgt.
