Plopper, missionary “to China for 20 years and now at the College of the Bible, Lexington, Ky., will speak at the Downey Ave"nue _ Christian church annual Women’s Day service at 10:35 a. m. tomorrow. The service is sponsored by the Women’s Missionary society, Mrs. Edgar Lloyd Smith, president, and the Missionary guild, Miss LaVon Pullgrafl, president. Serving with them on the arrangements committee are Mrs. C. A. Weesner and Mrs. Janet Sugioka.
The annual Women's Day service at University Park Christian church will be held at 10:35 a. m, tomorrow. Sponsored by the Women’s council of the church, Mrs. James E. Stuart, presiding, the service will include a sermon by Mrs. F. E Smith on “Woman's Place in the World Today.”
The Business and Professional Woman's group of Meridian Street Methodist church will have a Christmas party Wednesday with dinner at 6:30 p. m.
