Yolande displayed a condensed collection of beautifully worked gowns in pastel shades.
A white satin gown had a deep V-neck inset with French lace and empire puff sleeves edged in lace.
A winter gown in pale blue crepe| —had long sleeves and
a high star
Others were scalloped. appliqued in © satin. or embroidered with cupids, flowers or multi-colored confetti dots. Many of the gowns were slit at the ankle and ed in lace or embroidery to match the decolletage. They were all cut te fit snugly through the midriff and most designs had slips to match, When materials are easier to get Yolande plans to expand its styles.

Altar Society Plans
The Altar society of St. Roch's Catholic church will sponsor a card
party and bazaar Sunday in the
parish hall, 3603 8. Meridian st. Members of the committee in charge are Mesdames James B. McGinley, James Carmack, George Rolfsen, William Many, Albert Thuer, John Maxwell, Walter Lindley, Ed Grummell, William Branson and Virgil W. Padgett. Also, Mesdames Robert Heiskell, Joseph Suding, Louis Weber, Joseph Kress, John Liéland, Paul Ginder and James Surface.
