Longnecker Helped Form Dramatic Club.
Mrs. Elizabeth Dye Longnecker, one of the founders of the Indianapolis Dramatic club, died in her home in Maysville, Ky., where she had lived since she left Indianapolis more than 50 years ago. Mrs. Longnecker, who was 179, was born in Indianapolis and attended the former Kappas private school. here. She was active in social life here and was the daughter f the late John T. Dye, Indianapolis attorney. Her husband, George Longnecker, at one time pwned the Conner Prairie farm near Noblesville, now the property of Eli Lilly. Survivors besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. W. E. Garrison of Chicago, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. William Holton Dye of Noblesville.
