New Students of Tudor Hall School To Be Guests Friday at Annual Party

THE ANNUAL PARTY for new students at Tudor Hall school will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p. m. Friday at the school. Classes seven through 12 will attend. The

event will be a costume party and students will be dressed

as book or magazine titles. Short stunts will be given by the classes, and a prize willbe awarded for the most

outstanding costume. Miss Robin Good of Robinson, Ill, is general chairman of the party. Other committee chairmen are Miss Flo Mary Foreman, refreshments; Miss Joyce Underwood, program: Miss Carolyn Crom, prizes: Miss Georgia White, cleanup; Miss Margaret Ann Burns, music, and Miss Jacqueline Canfield, transportation. CR x x Tryouts for the first play of the season to be given by the Junior Civic theater will be held at 3:45 p. m. Thursday and Friday at the theater. The play will be “Mystery at the Old Fort” and it will be given on Oct. 27 and 28. Mrs, Horace Roberts and Mrs, Harry Karcher are the directors. Other plays to be given by the junior group are “What a Life” to be given in December, “Rumpelstiltskin” in February, and “Tom sawyer’ in April. Mrs. John Kinghan and Mrs. Roberts are new co-chairmen of the junior group. The membership chairman is Mrs, M. L. Martin, and Mrs, Gordon Bryan is in charge of publicity. The junior workshop will be held again this year. Registration will be at 10 a. m,, Oct. 13, in the theater.

Camp Fire Girls Start Training For Leaders

A training course for Camp Fire leaders will open tomorrow. Meetings will be held on Wednesdays in the Camp Fire office and on Oct. 6 there will be an all-day session at Camp Delight. Miss Oranda C.
