was 50. Mr, Pruitt came to Indianapolis from Kokomo, working in the stereotype departments of The Times, the Indianapolis Star and the Indianapolis News. He moved to Los Angeles about three years ago. He was a former president of Stereotypers Union 38 here, He 1s survived by his wife, Ethel; his son, Don; a daughter, Margaret, and a brother and sister. Funeral services and burial will

be in Los Angeles.

To Open Concert

JOHN" MACDONALD, Chicago bass-baritone, will present the opening concert of the Indiana Central college auditorium series at 8:15 p. m. Friday. "Mr. Macdon~ ald formerly ap= pearéd here in the Matinee Musicale “Mes siah” in 193940, in a voice recital at Scot tish Rite cathe~ dral in 1941, and with the Mr. MacDonald Indianapolis Symphony orchestra in 1942 and 1944. Two 14-year-old boys, who had each appeared in juvenile aid division 14 times and had escaped a total of five times from the juvenile center, were caught by Patrolmen Ed Clark and PF, Schmidt today at West and Merrill sts. The youths, according to police, had been living on building roofs since their last escape a month ago.
