OHIO OIL ADJUSTS PAY TO 40 HOURS
A change to the 40-hour workweek with wage adjustments has been announced by the Ohio Oil Co. vAlso a 15 per cent general increase in base pay for all employees with a present base rate of pay up tto and including $500 a month will affect nearly all of thé company’s 5500 employees. Because of widespread operations throughout the country the departments and divisions will place the program in operation Oct. 1, or as soon thereafter as manpower and other area conditions permit. It is contemplated that the changeover will be completed by the end of the year.
