Dr. Sweet is in charge of the division of leadership training and church school administration of the International Council of Religious Education. Since the church federation has a newly organized department of religious education, Dr. 8weet, who is a specialist in the field, was asked | to speak. He will confer with the depart! ment of religious education from | 5 to 6 p. m. During the period also, the various standing committees will meet to draft the final reports of prospective activities for the year. The reports will be submitted at the dinner meeting, at which Charles A. Breece, federation president, will preside. The theme for the federation this ear is: “What Constitutes an ffective Urban Church?” The Inianapolis Ministerial association, ed by its president, the Rev, I. Albert Moore, and the Butler School of Religion under the guidance of Dean O. L. Shelton also are studying the same theme. Ministers of the city, the federation executive committee, delegates from local churches and .Sunday school superintendents are invited | ————-——— to the planning conference, Dr. Howard J. Baumgartel is executive secretary of the church federation.
SPANIELS TO BE TRAINED SUNDAY
A training class preliminary to the annual specialty show of the Cocker Spaniel Club of Central Indiana will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p. m. at the Fall Creek playgrounds, at Fall Creek blvd. and 30th st. The specialty show is scheduled Oct. 19 at Tomlinson hall. The training class will be held to help dog owners get their pets in condition for the show. An instructor will he at the playground to put dogs through their paces and answer q
