Synagogs to Hold Three Days of Festival.

A rustic booth erected on the lawn of Temple Beth-El Zedeck symbolizes the Jewish feast of Succoth, which begins at sundown today. Suceoth, which means booth, is a joyous feast of thanksgiving for the fruits of the harvest. Indianapolis synagogs will mark the festival with services tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. The simple booth at Beth-El, roofed only by bough-trimmed | beams and displaying within it | pumpkins, peppers and other autumn fruits, recalls the customs of early Israel.
