Louis Fink to Be Tried in Juvenile Court.

Sixteen-year-old Louis John Fink, alleged driver of the automobile th&t fatally injured a pedestrian, George Entwistle, has been charged with delinquency in juvenile court. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fink, 5146 N. Illinois st.,.the boy escaped a possible charge of manslaughter or reckless homicide in ecriininal court, prosecutor’s attaches said, He lacked four days of being 16 when the tragedy occurred Sept. 6. Under state law, no juvenile offender under 16 can be waived to the jurisdiction of criminal court unless the penalty for the alleged offense is life imprisonment or death, } Also,” a prosecutor cannot appear in juvenile court to press cases aginst juvenile defendants, Saul Rabb, deputy prosecutor explained. These are the jurisdiction of probation officers. « Deny Hitting Man Mr. Entwistle, ‘62-year-old filling station employee, was alleged to have been struck by the Fink automobile in the 5400 block of N. A coroner's jury gave a verdict of reckless homicide as the cause of death. Juvenile court penalty for delinquency is set by the court. Maximum penalty is committment to the Indiana Boys' school until the age of 21, although a lighter penalty can be assessed. The youth also is charged with driving without a proper license. His parents will be required to appear in court at a time to be set later by Judge Mark W. Rhoads.
