The Mid-West regionals of the annual National, softball tournament gets under way at Municipal stadium tonight, with seven men's aggregations and seven girls’ teams competing. Withdrawal of the Wisconsin state champions from the tourney because of travel difficulties was announced yesterday. However, the Allis-Chalmers ten, Milwaukee metropolitan area champions, will be represented. Kingan Knights, local champions, were to have played the Wisconsin team in tonight's 9 p. m. game. In order to fulfill the three-game schedule the Knights have been booked in a non-tourney game against Fuzzy's All-Stars of Greenwood, southern Indiana champions.
