Rayon Curtains Need Little Washing Effort
Rayon ninon curtains can be washed by hand with little effort. Shake them first to remove loose dust. Then douse them up and down in lukewarm suds until all soil has been removed. Two soapings usually are necessary, followed by at least three rinses in lukewarm water, Press out excess water, Hang evenly and smoothly over a line or rod; avoid clothespins. Remove when slightly damp, or if cempletely dry when taken from the line, dampen evenly. Press with a very cool iron on the wrong side. Do not put ninon curtains on stretchers.

(chill sauce, 1 tsp. mustard, 2 tsp. | vinegar, 3% tsp. salt, dash of pepper. Put the first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Combine the rest of the ingredients thoroughly in a separate bowl and then add to the egg mixture. Toss the two lightly together. Serves four.
