VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN SORTING CLOTHES
More women volunteers are needed: at the Armory to finish sorting and packing the clothés remaining from the rive of the Marion Sounty committee of the United National Clothing collection. George A. Smith, co-ordinator for the drive in the county said today. that more than 192,000 pounds. of clothes and shoes have been sorted, packed and sent to the warehouse for bailing since the start of the drive. About 35,000 pounds still remain to be packed. The Council of Church Women, the Civil Air patrol, 527, and members of the P.-T. A, have assisted in the work, Mr, Smith said. He added that they hoped to complete the work by the end of this week.
